The Political Cabinet assists the Minister of Innovation and Digital Transformation in formulating and implementing government policy in the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, technological development, digital transformation, e-governance, e-identity and cybersecurity. It participates in defining the strategic priorities and objectives of the Ministry, proposes solutions within its powers and monitors their implementation.

The Cabinet performs advisory, coordination and information-analytical functions and supports the Minister's interaction with the Council of Ministers, the National Assembly, other state institutions, business, scientific organizations and the public. Through its activities, it contributes to the consistent presentation and implementation of the policies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and to the achievement of the set results.

Deputy Minister of Innovation and Digital Transformation

Yosifova is an established expert with nearly 20 years of professional experience in public administration, with a consistent career in the field of strategic planning, management of European programs and development of public policies.

Since May 2023, he has been Director of the Policy and Analysis Directorate at the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, where he leads the processes of building and implementing the national innovation policy and tools to support business and technological development.

Her professional path includes leadership and expert positions at the Employment Agency, the Center for Human Resources Development, and the Ministry of Culture, where she actively participates in the programming and coordination of key national and European policies.

Atanas Maznev

Deputy Minister of Innovation and Digital Transformation

Maznev is an expert with many years of professional experience in public administration, information technology and digital transformation processes. Over the years, he has held leadership positions related to the coordination, development and maintenance of national information and communication systems.

He has held leadership positions in the Executive Agency for E-Government Infrastructure, and before that he was Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for E-Government.

His professional career includes leadership positions in the Ministry of Defense related to the coordination, planning and management of specialized systems and processes. He has significant experience in the field of network and information security, as well as in the construction and management of critical information infrastructures.
