
On March 6, Poulev will make a statement during the General Debate and will then participate in a High-Level Thematic Round Table: Leveraging the Power of Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development of the LDCs, at which some 30 countries will be represented.
On March 7, Poulev will take part in a Ministerial Meeting on South-South Cooperation: Renewed partnerships for actionable solutions in support of implementation of the Doha Programme of Action for the LDCs. It will be attended by high-level representatives of the UN, multilateral and regional banks and financial institutions, the private sector, academia and NGOs.
A declaration is expected to be adopted at the end of the conference.
The Doha Conference is attended by delegations from over 150 countries, representatives of EU institutions, chambers of commerce, investment promotion agencies, heads of UN funds, agencies and programmes, and representatives of international institutions and companies.
